invisalign®
Invisalign® is a type of orthodontic treatment used to straighten teeth. Unlike traditional metal braces, clear aligners are made of transparent, removable plastic trays that are custom-fitted to the teeth. They gradually shift teeth into their proper positions over time, typically by wearing a series of aligners that are replaced every few weeks as the teeth move.

Key Benefits of Clear Aligners:
Aesthetics: They are nearly invisible, making them a popular choice for those who want to straighten their teeth without the noticeable appearance of metal braces.
Comfort: Clear aligners are generally more comfortable than traditional braces since they don’t have wires or brackets that could irritate the inside of the mouth.
Removability: Unlike braces, aligners can be removed for eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing, making oral hygiene easier.
No food restrictions: Since the aligners can be taken out, there are no dietary restrictions, unlike braces, where sticky or hard foods can cause damage.
Is Invisalign® for you?
The first step in determining if you are the right candidate for clear aligner therapy is a consultation visit. It is during this visit that Dr. Sood will examine your mouth to ensure Invisalign® is the right treatment for you.
Subsequently, impressions or digital scans of your teeth to be sent to the lab, who will then fabricate a series of custom aligners made to fit your teeth throughout treatment. Every aligner tray is roughly worn for 2 weeks for 22 hours a day. Continued monitoring with Dr. Sood is required to track your teeth movement and positions.
