Meet Dr. Sonal Sood
Smile Avenue Dentistry is a privately owned dental practice owned by Dr. Sonal K. Sood. Dr. Sood graduated from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2015. Over the past ten years, Dr. Sood has worked in different dental health models such as private practice, corporate dentistry and public health. The last two years, she served as the Dental Clinic Director of a Federally Qualified Health Center in Kansas City, KS providing quality dental care to the underserved population of Kansas City, KS.
Dr. Sood has a passion for clinical dentistry and has completed extensive training in advancing her dental skills by completing hundreds of hours of continuing education. She is a certified Invisalign provider, active member of Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and American Dental Association (ADA).
Dr. Sood and her husband moved to Kansas in 2021 and have called it their home. Her husband is a Pediatrician at University of Kansas Health System. Dr. Sood is a proud mother of two children. When she is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and gardening.
